Mr. Strayhorn has had the opportunity to display his talent on the world stage at New York Fashion Week where he was Lead Make-Up Artist , additionally, he has also won numerous awards including the Virginia Fashion Award: “Make-Up Artist of The Year” , “Best Hair Colorist” and 3 NAACP Image Awards for “Best Makeup Artist” (three time winner) and “Media Mogul” (two time winner), “Best Internet Talk Show” Old Dominion University WODU Awards for “Best Talk Show” and “Show of The Year” amongst the latest of accolades. These accomplishments have solidified his position as one of the premier beauty, image and media professionals on the east coast.
Mr. Strayhorn later added to his professional portfolio, the title of ” National Educator” when he aligned himself with L’oreal Professional and joined the talented team at “Mizani Hair Products” and performed as one of L’oreal’s premier National Educators for 6 years. He is the co-owner of Let’s Face It Makeup & Hair Studio and founder of L.F.I Enterprises which is parent company for L.F.I Makeup Services, L.F.I Makeup Academy, L.F.I Pageantry Services, L.F.I Bridal Services and L.F.I Image Makers. He is the President and Host of the multi-award winning, internet talk radio show Let’s Face It with Wil Strayhorn & Friends (www.LetsFaceItRadio.com). As a Media Personality, he has appeared on TV as an on-air Makeup Expert in a Reality Show Competition, Co-Hosted a TV Late-Night Talk Show and hosted red carpet and live events. He has shared his knowledge and experience as a special guest on numerous radio programs. Wil is a staff writer and the Fashion & Beauty Editor for ACHI Magazine as well as a contributing writer for magazines and blogs such as “Supernaturally Fabulous Magazine” and “The Media Brew” entertainment blog to name a few. Mr. Strayhorn has earned an Associate of Science degree is Social Sciences, A Bachelor of Science in Communication, A Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling (Life Coaching) and a Master of Science in Marketing (Digitial Marketing & Advertising).
